This is one of the five hungry wolves that Henson wants you to kill. Doing it this way prevents the warrior of the Order from appearing and attacking you.īehind Tristan's farmhouse you will find a cave entrance and a wolf in front of it. He wants you to kill some wolves for him, but we will deal with the wolves first and then talk to Henson afterward. ![]() You can collect the grain for Thomas, and talk to Tellur, but do not talk to Henson yet. Talk to Tristan to get the quest Help the Novice Farm. Ask Jan to take you to Harbour Town, and he wlll lead you a short distance to the east, where you will find the farm. We will do the bandit camp before Harbour Town, but first we must make a quick detour to the novice farm to get some gold. Talk to Jan eventually he will offer to take you to either the bandit camp or Harbour Town. Once you reach Jan you are safe if any creatures are still chasing you he will kill them. When you get to the small ruin, run around it to the left and keep going up.Ī short distance past the small ruin, you will come to another house. When you reach the abandoned house, run to the right and keep moving up the path (there is nothing worth looting in the house). Run up the torchlit path from the beach as quickly as possible. (Don't worry, we'll come back for her later.) We are going to leave her on the beach and make a run for it. While it may not be in the spirit of a non-combat walkthrough, using a crossbow is easy and fun, and I will explain exactly where to obtain a crossbow, and when to use it. I recommend equipping and using a crossbow to make some things a little easier. There are a few times when it is necessary to punch an NPC with your bare fists to get them to chase you. These fights occur late in the first chapter, after you have acquired weapons and items that will help you, and I will explain exactly what needs to be done in order to win these fights. There are three mandatory, unskippable training fights in the monastery that are required to join the Order and become a mage.By following this guide, you will be able to complete nearly every quest in the bandit camp, Harbour Town, and the monastery without ever equipping a melee weapon or engaging in combat.
